The video opens with a close up of a photo, the camera then proceeds to zoom out to show the singer of the band walking away following the camera as if it is not there.
We see the drummer on the whislt hhe carriers on walking, this is the effect that the band are watching themselves in their own video.
We then see the singer on the tv aswell whilst he carries on walking throughout the house, which appears fairly rundown, almost like a flat of a student.
At the breakdown in 1.17 we then realise that the video has been shot with the singer walking backwards as we see a set of clever effects with the boxes falling and the other people appearingly walking backwards past him.
He then carries on round the corner to the rest of the band,they then perform briefly this was presumably shot backwards. This happens whilst a women films them performing.
They then simulataneously jump, which would be the way it was filmed first.
Throughout the entire piece there is no use of cuts the camera is either being followed or is following the singer.
The video is both narrative and performance based
